Our commitment to ethical partnerships
As a company pursuing B Corp certification, we work with business partners who share our values of ethical conduct, respect for human rights, and environmental responsibility.
What we expect from our partners
Legal compliance. All suppliers must operate lawfully, hold the necessary licences, and comply with the customs, trade, and industry regulations that apply in their jurisdictions.
Human rights & fair labour. We expect partners to treat workers with dignity, pay fair wages, provide safe working conditions, and never engage in forced labour, child labour, or discrimination.
Environmental responsibility. We expect suppliers to comply with environmental law, work to reduce their environmental impact, and maintain responsible practices.
Business ethics. Partners must conduct business honestly, reject bribery and corruption, protect confidential information, and compete fairly.
Data protection. Suppliers handling data must comply with the UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, safeguarding personal and business information appropriately.
Our approach
We recognise our limitations as a small company and focus our influence where it counts. Where we have a choice, we prefer partners who hold:
- AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certification or equivalent
- Recognised industry certifications and a strong track record
- Clear policies on labour, the environment, and ethics
- Transparent business practices
We commit to:
- Working with reputable, legally compliant partners
- Asking the right questions about business practices
- Being transparent with clients about supply-chain considerations
- Supporting continuous improvement through dialogue
- Declining to work with partners we know to be acting unethically or unlawfully
Continuous improvement
We believe in long-term relationships built on mutual respect and shared values. We support partners working to improve their practices and welcome constructive dialogue about challenges and solutions.
